Membership

Welcome! Our rabbis, professionals, and volunteers are here for you as you navigate your Jewish journey. Learn more about joining our community, and hear from members about what makes them love our Temple family.

Why do we love Temple?

Don't just take it from us - hear from some of our members about why they love to be part of the Temple family. Become a Member

“We love Temple because it feeds us. The menu is varied and quite filling. We get spiritual nourishment from worship; a full plate of learning through study and a myriad of enrichment courses and programs; a heartfelt meal of sharing and caring with our Temple family, who welcomed us from day one nearly 30 years ago. So, grab a plate, literally, and let Temple feed you, too - b’teiavon!”

- Michael & Deborah Kuhr

“I absolutely love our Temple! I have never felt more welcomed or more at home at a synagogue. There is always so much going on, so many events for me and my little one to attend! Going to Shabbat services has to be my favorite thing to do at our Temple. I love feeling connected to our community, hearing from our Rabbis, and the music is always great. Our Temple is home.”

- Ali Knoll & daughter Olivia

"From religious school to youth programs to holiday events, Ahavath Chesed provides a nurturing environment for our children to learn about their heritage, develop lifelong friendships, and cultivate their own spiritual identities. Watching them light up with excitement during Hanukkah celebrations or proudly recite prayers during Shabbat services is moving beyond words.”

- Mike & Rachel Frieder with kids Jacob & Shelby
