Sisterhood at Temple
For over a century, the WRJ-Temple Sisterhood has embodied the highest ideals of Judaism within our Temple family and the broader Jacksonville community. As an award-winning chapter of Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ), our diverse group of women unites for meaningful programs that support The Temple, foster learning, and promote fun and friendship.

A Legacy of Leadership and Service
Sisterhood has played a pivotal role in social justice, religious, and educational activities within our community. Known for their home-baked catering and beloved Judaica Gift Shop, the Sisterhood also supports various causes through both financial contributions and active participation in national and district organizations.
Community and Social Action
Sisterhood's programs address the specific needs of our synagogue and community. The annual Donor event funds Camp Coleman scholarships, and proceeds from the Women’s Seder benefit Hubbard House, a local refuge for battered women and children. Sisterhood also supports our Religious School, the Temple Braille Group, Jewish Family and Community Services, low-income public schools, animal rescue, and other worthy causes.
Join Us in Making a Difference
Our vision is to create a community of women dedicated to Reform Jewish life, bound by a sense of identity, service, friendship, and mutual respect. We strive to promote fellowship among members, mentorship for social action and educational activities, and address Jewish and humanitarian causes in cooperation with the Temple and the broader community.
